RARE ANTIQUE NIGHTS OF COLUMBUS GERMAN SILVER KEYCHAIN FOB ID TAG DOG TAG TRUNK TAG
These date back to about the early 1900's. They were used as key tags, key fobs, identification tags luggage / trunk tags. Their main purpose was to return lost keys and other important items back to their rightful owners. If you're reading this ad you already know how rare these fobs are. The fact they are blank and not engraved make them even rarer. Thanks for looking!
Made out of nickel-silver also called German silver. Nickel silver is stronger and more expensive than brass. And, it doesn't tarnish as much as brass. Back in the day manufacturers chose nickel-silver over brass for higher quality items like thes fobs
These look gorgeous and resemble sterling silver.
