These are new Clear Care lens cases suitable for plain storage and for hydrogen-peroxide based cleaning systems.
Even for non-hydrogen peroxide based systems, the submersion of your lenses in a larger amount of saline can't be harmful...much better than those flat lens cases that hold just several drops of saline in each well.
I am not an eye-doctor. Follow your eye doctor's advice regarding the use of hydrogen-peroxide systems like Clear Care.
When you notice the bubbling action of your lens case is slow, or the bubbles are lazy, you should consider replacing the lens case. It could mean the catalytic disk at the bottom is exhausted. Weak or lazy bubbles won't scrub your lenses the way excited, plentiful bubbles will.
If the bubbling action slows down enough, your hydrogen-peroxide based cleaning solution will still have hydrogen peroxide remaining in the cleaning solution undissolved after the overnight cleaning period. Inserting lenses in your eyes with undissipated hydrogen peroxide solution will cause immediate stinging and irritation.
The shipping fee is high because Ebay requires the use of tracking services. Therefore, consider averaging out the initial high cost by purchasing multiple lens cases. Shipping is on a graduated scale after the first lens case.
