ONE DOZEN MINI BLOWN EGGSHELLS
Be ready for spring craft season with blown eggshells from my bantam Golden Sebright hen, Pansy.
Don't settle for cheap plastic eggs when you can have the real thing.
Pansy lays sweet, small, ivory colored eggs. These eggshells are not mechanically blown. They have a small hole in each end through which the contents are blown. Then I rinse the eggs thoroughly and air dry them. Consequently the shells don't spoil or smell.
They'll last for years or until broken!
Blown eggshells are great for:
egg painting (thread a ribbon through them and hang on an Easter egg tree)
Pysanky or Ukrainian egg dying
Easter egg hunts
holiday wreaths
baby announcements (roll up a note and tuck it inside)
baby shower favors
gender reveal
scavenger hunts (with the clues inside, the hunters have to crack the eggs for next steps!)
