    Guns #1679-(original) exceedingly rare-the author was an old Texas cowboy. Herd #1757. Indian fighting, cowboy life, trail driving, and much on Billy the Kid. lists at 1250.00 for a 1923 edition. This copy is even more RARE as it pre-dates 1923. This issue reads on the inside cover "Bought from (the author) Monroe Parker (James Monroe Parker) by Lawerence Haddow in 1916. I find NO information on this issue and no date. As date it would be 1916 or earlier.  This booklet reads An Aged Wanderer A life sketch by J. M. Parker - A cowboy on the Western Plains. Price 25 cents. printed by The Ripley Bulletin - Ripley, Homa (Oklahoma) founded newspaper in 1912 the Printer of this booklet  so that would date this phamplet between 1912-1916. There are 17 pages. 4-3/4" x 6-3/4". A True Western Cowboy rarity. Information on Billy The Kid as well.
    Lawrence Haddow was born about 1883 in Texas and lived in Colmor, New Mexico.
